San Diego , CA : Two San Diego based security companies announce new product collaboration, and are awarded for innovative effort at recent Security Summit.

New Product: San Diego based Guard Management, Inc. and WFI, a publicly traded international provider of public and private sector technical security solutions, recently announced a joint product venture now available for select client trial. Guard Intel enables any customer to link all legacy facility security systems into one, easy to use windows-based software program. Designed to overlay on existing physical devices and electronic programs, Guard Intel provides a web-based solution to managing security at a never before experienced level.

Free site trials are being offered to select facility partners. Preliminary results are far exceeding expectations. Customers are realizing tremendous benefits in both real-time data monitoring as well as report and video retrieval.

Award: GMI in conjunction with WFI recently was recognized at the prestigious "Security Summit" for developing an innovative security software program. The Security Summit, showcasing the most innovative security technology and services in the industry, was held at the Aerospace museum in Balboa Park on June 5th and 6th. Over 60 international organizations participated. Security providers from Europe , Asia , Africa , North America and Australia displayed their products and were judged by a panel of security experts representing both the private and government sectors including Homeland Security, defense, and law enforcement assessment centers from multiple countries. The GMI/WFI product "Guard Intel" was named runner up as Best New Security Product.

The mission of The Security Network is to advance security by  "Fostering Innovation Through Collaboration" worldwide.  The non-profit, non-partisan Security Network will promote rapid commercialization of dual usage security technologies and development of effective regional security. The Security Network Executive Board is comprised of a diverse cross-section of San Diego business, civic and government leaders.
